Hand in Hand

Program

At Hand in Hand, we recognize your child is a unique individual with a unique set of interests, needs, and abilities. Our self-paced, individualized program is designed to promote your child’s emotional, social, intellectual, and physical development. Hand in Hand maintains low child to teacher ratios, so your child can have individual attention, which is the focus of our program.

Our program involves self-paced learning. Our daily schedule is designed to minimize transitions and to ensure that activities are not duplicated in the early morning and late afternoon. Hand in Hand follows the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards as a guideline for developmentally appropriate practice and uses this based program by which the daily activities are prepared. These activities are appropriate for you child’s age and development level. Your child may choose among the activities, giving him/her a chance to make decisions. The ability to choose helps develop self-esteem and a positive self-image.

We encourage your child to be an active learner, to explore and move about freely. Hand in Hand’s child-friendly environment encourages your child to participate in the following activities.
